What I do — and what I don't

AR Gardiner & Co. Ltd provides accountancy, taxation, payroll, bookkeeping and related compliance services. I am a Fellow of the Association of Accounting Technicians (FMAAT).

I am not regulated for the conduct of investment business. Anything that touches investment, pension or regulated financial advice is referred to an independent financial adviser. If you're not sure whether what you want falls inside or outside that boundary, ask — I'll tell you, and where helpful, point you to someone who is.

Engagement

Becoming a client of the practice requires a written engagement letter setting out scope, fees and responsibilities. Until that letter is signed, no professional duty is owed and no work is in progress, even if we've corresponded by email or had a phone call.

Limits on liability

Where a written engagement is in place, the engagement letter governs the relationship — including any agreed limits on liability. Reliance on information published on this website, in the absence of a written engagement, is at your own risk.
